Our company was founded in 1982 in Tokyo, and specializes in designing, developing, and selling toys for babies, infants and toddlers. As a long-established name in the Japanese market, we have consistently created market-leading toys that captivate young children.​

curiosity of one-year-olds

A 1-year-old's curiosity is most obvious with everyday objects. They try to understand these items and imitate adults through explorations. Parents notice this shift from instinctual interests of infancy to a more curious exploration, and they want to support it. ​

However, the current market is filled with either baby toys that satisfy basic instincts or educational toys. There are few products that truly cater to the curiosity of 1-year-olds. Toys with limited ways of playing and fixed answers confine their curiosity.​

We believe it is essential to create products that spark and chain their natural curiosity, without defining how to play or what the correct answers are. Our focus is on the curiosity of one-year-olds, and we are developing new products based on this principle.​

investigations and fieldwork

We have conducted interviews and home visits with 59 families in 17 countries (and counting!) to closely observe and study the daily curiosity behaviors of one-year-olds. Additionally, we have repeatedly conducted prototype monitor tests to see how one-year-olds play, observing 145 children so far.​

Through these investigations and fieldwork, we have compiled a database of the curiosity behaviors of one-year-olds worldwide.Our products are developed based on the insights gained from this data.​
